 Happy Thanksgiving!

We wish you all Happy Thanksgiving!

Thank you for volunteering, donations and support for HHD.
We had a successful year with your help so far. I really appreciate for your kindness, care and support in helping HHD to grow. It's a blessing to work together to achieve HHD's mission for the deaf community.

Please keep your faith in and support  HHD as we continue in serving the deaf community.

Faith has won our victory. (Romans 8:28-30),
“All things, yes, everything has already been declared as a ‘victory’ for us, according to His Word. We have only to believe this,” as emphasized by Rev. Melton. “The ‘victorious battle of faith’ has already been won by our placing our faith in Him.  He has already said, it is in knowing ‘His victory’ also has been given to us who are His.”

If you want to volunteer, please apply for it online www.HelpingHandsforthedeaf.org. Your volunteering will be much appreciated.

Kindest Regards,

 Hey friends,

we had a great Chili Dinner. We missed so many friends, but met some new friends and great workers from Target...it was a fun time and good food! We learned that Love is giving, doing (action), understanding, caring, family, community,  sweethearts  ... and God is love.

Thanks for coming out to our event!

Hello everyone,

Thank you very much for taking your valuable time to read this brief letter. We will host the Chili Dinner on Saturday, February 6, 2021 from 11 am to 3 pm as shown in the flyer.

A hearing lady, Jennifer, has deaf clients and she doesn’t know how to help them without any resource. Somehow, she contacted HHD for advice and got information that she was looking for. She was so euphoric about it. Likewise, many people and clients are thankful to HHD and our hard work. In addition to this, we have the deaf bible study and devotions everyday from Monday to Saturday to help them to grow spiritually with better understanding of the Word of God (Colossians 1: 9-10).

They encourage us to keep serving to the deaf community.

How can HHD continue serving, teaching, caring, empowering deaf community without your support and donation?  Just give donation even though you may not show up.

We encourage you to participle, support and donate Helping Hands for the Deaf (HHD). We have great volunteers and board members who make HHD a success while serving for deaf community.

With Regards,

December 24, 2020

Happy Holiday to you all!

This holiday season brings great welcome news: The year, 2020, has been a blessing for Helping Hands for the Deaf (HHD). HHD has been awarded for a grant from the Greater Atlanta COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund. This grant is made possible because of you all who have dedicated into making HHD a success! I’m grateful that you have walked into my life and make the difference in my life. Soon, this year will come to a close, but the new year will be challenging for HHD. May God bless HHD for the year 2021! Hopefully, food will be distributed to the deaf community.

The Chief of the Fire Department donated 120 flash alarms to HHD so that they will be distributed to the deaf community. God has blessed the deaf community with the fire alarms for protection that will save lives and property.

HHD has served hot food meal to deaf community because of the COVID-19 impact. These people are blessed and relieved to be served with hot meals. We show that we care about them.

A house of the deaf family had fallen into the dire need of major repairs which they couldn’t afford to fix. The roof of their home leaked during rain and the water rolled down on the walls of living room and kitchen. Their insurance would not fix the roof leak and the roof was probably damaged by the terrible wind. So, HHD came to help this deaf family by searching and finding someone who could fix the roof leaks and repair all around the house. Somehow, HHD found and contacted one contractor. The contractor came to fix the leaking roof and repair many things around the house. Their deck was painted white. Now, their house looks wonderful with new roof as shown in the pictures below.

Everyone should have one main goal for holiday season this year: keep friends and family safe. I thank once again for each of you who prevented the spread of dangerous COVID-19 pandemic while HHD was hosting the fundraising events. Moreover, I want to thank you all who dedicated your precious time, energy and resources to help those who were struggling to survive. Indeed, you have shown your spirit with Christ.

I pray that you will have a wonderful blessing on your holiday and a Happy New Year.

Best Regards,
